I want to get a Horse but my mom doesn't know how much it costs to own one. How much is it to board a horse at a stable? How much is it usually to lease a horse? And ... What are you paying for when you lease a horse?
I wish I could be more precise in answering your question. The truth is the cost of a horse is very dependent on where you live and the availability of the facilities you wish to use. Leasing a horse is not always the best way to go, but if you do decide to lease make absolutely sure that you are covered or a disclaimer appears in the paperwork/agreement.
