Amelia Island Horseback Riding I actually live off of Amelia Island and trailer my horses to Peters Point Beach Front Park on S. Fletcher Ave. where I meet my riders and ride on the beach. Since I trailer my horses I can only accommodate 2-3 riders at a time. Contact me for times and availability. During the fall and winter I am very flexible... the best time is at low tide! It is a very personalized ride geared to the riding capability of my riders. So you may get to experience trotting and cantering on the waters edge! Bring a camera.... I would love to capture your moments. Amelia Island Hotels Amelia Island, FL Amelia Island Hotels close to the beaches and beach horseback riding. Hutchinson Island is one of the few places in Florida that allows horses on the beach and St. Lucie County's best-known asset is its spectacularly beautiful barrier islands, boasting 21 miles of bleached white beaches edging a cobalt-blue ocean and lined with sabal palms.
The St. Lucie County's Parks and Recreation Department hosts horseback riding trips through Tours on Horseback on the first, second and fourth Sunday of each month for visitors to experience the beautiful surroundings by horseback.

Two-Bit Stable Horseback Riding on the Beach in the Florida Panhandle 240 Cape San Blas Rd. Port St. Joe, FL (850) 227-4744 Florida beach riding. Ya'll come get some sand in your boots! Two-bit Stable has been proudly owned and operated by the Lewandowski Family since the summer of 2000. What better way to take in the uniqueness of the beaches at Cape San Blas than by horseback? Our forgotten coast boasts being one of the only remaining vacation destinations in the country which allows our visitors to enjoy horseback riding on the beach. A relaxing ride next to the waves of the gulf is just another way to experience the laid back atmosphere of our area. We set our pace to the rhythm of the waves that wash ashore while taking it all in... the seashell showered beaches, colorful sunsets and on lucky days we even see happy dolphins playing! Also, there are plenty of photo opportunities during your ride. Someone once said you can't take a bad picture out here!
Beach riding outside of Florida
Beach horseback riding in the Outer Banks, North Carolina. A different way to experience the outer banks is beach riding. Remember that scene in The Black Stallion directed by Frances Ford Coppola where Alec rides bareback on the beach for the first time? They back and forth gallop in the surf with total freedom and wild abandon. Then there is that wonderful musical score swelling in the background. Just an amazing beach riding scene.
Well, there is a place where you can live out your galloping-on-the-beach fantasies, and it’s in one of my most favorite places in the world: the Outer Banks of North Carolina. more info
Beach horseback riding in Alaska? Who would have thought about beach riding in Alaska! I rode with Bree Bardarson of Bardy’s Trail Rides. Bree was born and raised in Alaska and took me through the beautiful natural areas surrounding the town of Seward on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula, as well as through areas of devastation caused by the 1964 earthquake. more info
Beach riding on Sea Island, Georgia. Well, I am sitting here with a sunburn after a very full day of beach riding on Sea Island. During my ride, Sarah, who was leading our small group of three down a wide sandy beach under a bright blue sky, said that it couldn't get any better than this. I have to agree.
Sea Island is one of the barrier islands off of Georgia's coast in a grouping known as the Golden Isles. The Sea Island Resort has been welcoming guests to the island retreat for generations, and people have been riding on the island for generations. I am staying at the Lodge at Sea Island, which is actually located on St. Simon's Island. The Lodge is surrounded by large oak trees, dripping with Spanish moss, and a world-class golf course. At night, you have the option of having freezing cold milk and cookies that are brought to your room before bedtime. Who would refuse that after a day of riding? more info
